Christina Aguilera has spoken to ‘Extra’ about her rocky start to 2011.

The ‘Dirrrty’ diva, who is getting ready for her new role as a judge on NBC’s ‘The Voice,’ said she takes the rough with the smooth.
“You have to take the good with the bad,” she explained. “If you're in this business, if you're in the spotlight, you have to be able to take criticism and you have to take the punches along the way."

Aguilera added, “All of my experiences in the past year, and everything that's happened to me, I thank God for it."
