Vocal sensation Christina Aguilera spent yesterday on set for her upcoming new album's photoshoot and teased fans by sharing a picture of herself with stunning lilac-coloured hair.

She took to social networking site Twitter last night (August 16) and told her 1.8 million followers that she was busy working on the artwork for her new record and uploaded a series of behind-the-scenes photos of her wardrobe and accessories options:

"Album cover photoshoot day! Music video shoots soon. Getting closer. Thrilled to be back in my "artist mode". Kisses! A girl needs her options... At the album photoshoot..."

Some of the clothing options that she revealed include a long tiger-print dress, pink and orange skyscraper stiletto heels, and a black and dark purple hat.

Aguilera also tweeted a link to an image displaying rows of stunning statement-piece necklaces for her to choose from.
