Courtney Love, Billy Corgan and Marilyn Manson heal rift

Courtney Love, Billy Corgan and Marilyn Manson are friends again according to Love's Instagram.

Over the past 15 years the trio have publicly attacked each other in the media. For example, Ex-lovers, Corgan and Hole, came to blows when Love used Corgan's lyrics in her 2010 album, 'Nobody's Daughter', without his permission.

This caused Corgan to tell Billboard: "I have no interest in supporting her in any way, shape or form. You can't throw enough things down the abyss with a person like that."

But that all seems to be in the past as on December 3 a photo of Love, Corgan and Manson was uploaded onto Hole's Instagram with a caption stating 'See all hatchets buried and true love never dies in the heart of billy'.

This was followed by Manson joining the Smashing Pumpkins onstage at the band's Koko concert in London to sing his new single, 'Third Day of a Seven Day Binge' as well as a version of The Smashing Pumpkins' 'Ava Adore'.

Love did give an olive branch to Corgan at this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony where she also made up with Foo Fighter Dave Grohl. Grohl was the drummer in Nirvana. Love's late husband, Kurt Cobain, was the band's singer.

During that ceremony, Hold said: "The only person I'm concerned about is Corgan. I just wished he'd mellow out. That's all. We're older. Get over it."

Manson and Love failed to see eye to eye when they both toured together in 1999. Love's band, Hole, quit the tour after just nine concerts. Though this may have been down to Manson's public reasons for asking Hole to tour with him in the first place.

Manson told the San Francisco Examiner before Hole left: "I asked myself what is the last band in the world I would ever, ever want to tour with, and it was Hole, beyond doubt. But then I thought, I love a challenge, I like to surround myself with aggravation, it helps me perform better.

And I thought, well, here's a chance to show Courtney the difference between being a celebrity and being a real rock star. She never talked to me until I sold a million records. Sometimes we talk and it seems OK, other times, she's just a bitch. I really don't like her much."

Manson and Corgan were also once close friends until another public spat. Manson mentioned to the chatshow host, Larry King, that he hadn't spoken to Corgan for a while, he said:

"I haven't spoken to him but there was no fall out or anything. I think he might have gone mad when I told him that it would be a good marketing idea if he sold Charlie Brown t-shirts and bald caps at concerts and he may not have liked that. He does look like Charlie Brown a little bit, in fairness."
