Their many gifts are on full display here, in their finest light." - SPIN

Here We Go Magic have released album centerpiece and second single, 'How Do I Know', off of their forthcoming LP, 'A Different Ship'. The single is available digitally now and on 7" on the 21st May through Secretly Canadian.

With its instantly hummable refrain, 'How Do I Know' builds layer by layer from a simple guitar-vocals-drums combo into a swirling symphony of glorious noise. The track is the molten core at the center of the sunny and spacious album that the band recorded with Nigel Godrich. 'A Different Ship' is available for pre-order now with an instant digital download here and in stores 7th May in the UK, 8th May in the US.

The 7" of 'How Do I Know' will be backed with the previously unreleased 'My Plate's on Fire'. An outtake from their sessions with Godrich, the fuzzy drone of 'Plate...' creeps steadily along under singer Luke Temple's falsetto and demonstrates the range of this remarkable band.

Following on from the recently reported UK and European shows, HWGM has also announced US tour dates in support of the album. To celebrate the release the band will play an intimate set at New York's Knitting Factory on April 26 then head out in May to headline dates across the US joined by indie popsters, Hospitality. The shows also include stops at Sasquatch, London's Field Day, Evolution and Bonnaroo festivals. A full list of the US shows is here, UK/EU ones as follows.
