'Neon Lights' songstress Demi Lovato took to her official Twitter page earlier this evening and asked her followers to tell her what they're grateful for, using the hashtag "#ThingsWeTakeForGranted".

She wrote: "What little things are you grateful for? Name 5 things that we easily take for granted every single day... Let's make #ThingsWeTakeForGranted a TT to spread positivity and love today!!!"

The beauty then added the things she is thankful for, telling her fans: "Clean water, a roof over my head, music, food, family.. #ThingsWeTakeForGranted."

As soon as the hashtag made the worldwide trending topics list on the popular social networking site, Lovato tweeted: "Hell yeah!!! Lovatics spreading positivity and light around the WHOLE WORLD!!!! #ThingsWeTakeForGranted."
