Demi Lovato on Ed Sheeran collaboration: 'We're figuring out a time to write together'

'Neon Lights' beauty Demi Lovato has revealed that she can't wait to get into the studio and write music with singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran after she told her followers on Twitter that he is at the top of her 'people to work with' list.

After she tweeted that she hopes to duet with the 'Lego House' hitmaker in the future, he saw the message and responded publicly to her by writing: "Let's write a song then!"

Lovato has now admitted to Capital FM that she is "so excited" at the prospect of being able to write with Sheeran and she hopes it's something that happens soon: "He's just so talented so I'm really excited to work with him. He was supposed to be here this week, so we were gonna write. And now he's not, so we're trying to figure out a time when we can write together."

She recently recorded guest vocals for The Vamps' new single, 'Somebody To You', and told the radio station that the video for the track will be one to watch: "They were really sweet! I did enjoy working with them. It was nice to finally meet them after being on a song with them. The song turned out great and I'm excited about it. I'm excited about the video - and they're nice guys!"
