Demi Lovato excited to show the world her true self on tour

Demi Lovato has suggested that she will avoid speaking about her past and focus on the present during her next tour.

The singer, who has suffered from emotional and physical issues in the last few years, is currently rehearsing for North American and European dates.

The run will kick off in Baltimore on September 6 and Lovato took to Twitter to stress that she won't bring any baggage on tour with her.

She said: "I'm excited for my tour because I get to show everyone who I am. Not my story, not my struggles anymore just me."

The US star will travel to the UK for four dates in November as she supports Enrique Iglesias.

She will visit Glasgow, London, Birmingham and Manchester on the jaunt.

Speaking on Twitter on Monday (September 1) meanwhile, Lovato said:

"Tomorrow I've got a long day of rehearsals...So many new things for you guys...I'm so excited."
