Demi Lovato on her style: 'It's exciting to show people a different side of myself'

Songstress Demi Lovato recently sat down for an in-depth interview with Fault magazine and opened up about her career and current sound.

Speaking about her latest studio album, 'DEMI', the beauty admitted that all of the tracks on the record happened 'organically' and the collaborations were very natural in the sense that nothing was forced:

“Everything that happened on the album happened organically."

She continued: "Nothing was really planned in terms of ‘I want a dance song’ or anything like that- it just kind of happened! It’s exciting to show people a different side of myself."

In the same interview, Lovato also talked about being a role model and admitted that while she never wanted to fill that position, she had to embrace it because resenting that made her feel negative about her career path: "It’s true what they say, ‘with great power comes great responsibility,’ and everybody’s career is different but for me, I had to grow up and embrace it rather than resent it, as that only made me resent my career."
