'Really Don't Care' superstar Demi Lovato has opened up about the importance of self-love and self-respect in a new interview with Glam Belleza Latina magazine. 

Speaking about looking in the mirror and accepting what you see, the songstress explained that you have to be able to confront yourself in order to see the real beauty: "You can be the most beautiful woman in the world and see yourself as hideous. You must love yourself. To look in the mirror and tell yourself that you're a rock star, you know?"

Lovato went onto add that she keeps herself centred and feeling positive by setting aside time for herself to do the little things that make her feel good:

"Self-care is a big one. Everyone has their thing, and for me it's my nails. It sounds silly, but if I go weeks without getting my nails done, I must find an hour to get a manicure. It just makes me feel better. So does taking care of my skin."
