Demi Lovato praises boyfriend for not enabling her when she was struggling with issues

Songstress Demi Lovato has praised her boyfriend, actor Wilmer Valderrama, for helping her to stay on a clean, healthy and sober path.

During a recent interview with the Kyle And Jackie O Show on KIIS 106.5 FM, the beauty admitted that he was a driving force in her conscious decision to work at recovering because she knew she wanted to keep him in her life:

"There were some moments when it was off and on when I was struggling with my issues. What he would do is he wouldn't enable me so he'd say, 'I can't be around if you're not going to get your stuff together.' It made me fight for it. He's a very, very good guy."

Earlier this month, the 'Nightingale' hitmaker shared some solid advice with her fans and told Glitter magazine: “I would tell them to follow your dreams but always be sure to stay true to yourself. Even when things get tough, stay strong!”
