Demi Lovato wants side project with Nick Jonas: 'We've written so many songs together'

'Cool For The Summer' sensation Demi Lovato has revealed that she would love to do a side project with long-time friend Nick Jonas.

The beauty admitted to AT40 that their collaborative song 'After Glow' was meant to be on her upcoming new album, but she has now decided to save it for a possible joint project with the 'Jealous' heartthrob because they have written a lot of material together:

“I was thinking about putting it on this album, but I think I want to save it because I really want to do a side project with him. That would be so cool if we got to do a side project because we’ve written so many songs together, we’ve known each other for years… so I might save it for that!”

Back in May, Lovato and Jonas launched their very own record label, Safehouse Records, and it is a joint venture manager Phil McIntyre and Island Records. Lovato described the business partnership as very exciting:

"I've worked closely with both Nick and Phil for years and we share the same point of view when it comes to making music. It's incredibly exciting to be part of this new company where I"m in control of all aspects of my career. I can't wait to share what we're working on!"
