Songstress Demi Lovato often speaks out about her love and admiration for boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, and he has now praised her in a new interview with On Air with Ryan. 

The actor, who is currently starring in 'From Dusk Till Dawn', told Ryan Seacrest that he kept their romance quiet at first because the 'Cool For The Summer' beauty was busy trying to establish herself in the grown-up music world:

"I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that it was a big transitional time for her and her career and I just felt like it was important that it should be more about her and the next chapter of her music and all the things she was doing — because she was evolving as an artist.”

Valderrama went onto add that they're incredibly close and have been since they started to date: “We’ve been best friends for five years."

Lovato, meanwhile, recently told BBC Radio 1 that when she finally marries Valderrama, she wants Ed Sheeran to sing at their wedding: "Well I already told Christina Perri that she's playing at my wedding so probably her and I really want Ed Sheeran and the list could go on and on."
