20-year-old songstress and X Factor USA panelist Demi Lovato took the stage at The Grove in Los Angeles yesterday (February 14) to open the flagship Topshop store.

Back on February 1, the 'Skyscraper' beauty tweeted "Fibula schmibula..." and followed up the message by sharing a photograph of her legs, one of which was in a cast and obviously broken.

Despite her injury, Lovato turned up to the shop's opening on Thursday and treated the crowd to a live rendition of 'Give Your Heart A Break' and wore a bedazzled cast complete with black crutches (shown below).

After the event, she shared a picture through Instagram that showed her posing with Topshop owner Sir Philip Green's daughter and the founder of Just Jared, who were holding her broken leg across their knees.

Actress Kate Bosworth was also in attendance at the store's launch and took photographs with Sir Philip Green and Lovato.
