'Heart Attack' songstress Demi Lovato has revealed how she came to break her leg.

The hitmaker has been pictured with her leg in a cast recently and during an interview today (February 26), she explained to Ryan Seacrest that falling on a polished floor while watching 'Silver Linings Playbook' played a big part in the break:

"[My roommate] did the whole floor [with Pledge]. I had this screener for 'Silver Linings Playbook.' I went to sit down."

Lovato added: "I got up for a Popsicle I came back and I slipped and fell. And it just snapped."

She also opened up about her brand new single, 'Heart Attack', which has hit the No.1 spot in 9 countries on iTunes since its release, and revealed what it's about:

"Sometimes it's so much harder to get hurt than it is letting your wall down and falling in love."
