Demi Lovato has premiered the video for her new single.

The X Factor USA judge is releasing the track 'Heart Attack' as the lead single from her forthcoming new album 'DEMI'.

She has been teasing the video over the past couple of days and has now unveiled the full clip.

It sees Lovato emerge from a pool of what looks like black paint, before singing the song with her band.

The singer's new album 'DEMI' meanwhile is due to hit shelves on May 14.

It will follow-up previous record 'Unbroken', which was released in 2011.
