Demi Lovato online clothes auction proves a hit

Demi Lovato is set to raise thousands of dollars for charity as her online clothes auction continues to attract interest.

The US star has teamed up with Free The Children to sell off a number of garments and clothes items once worn by the singer.

The most popular item currently on the eBay page is a custom red/orange Topshop dress that Lovato wore on season two of the US X Factor.

At the time of writing, it has received 28 bids and is currently sitting at $610 with five days left to run.

Other items proving a hit include a metallic Jacquard blazer and a red cocktail dress.

Speaking about the auction, Lovato said: "I hope you will enjoy wearing these awesome clothes as much as I have! Thank you so much for helping me support Free The Children. I really believe in all of the great work they are doing for young people everywhere. I am excited that together we can help build a brighter future and a better world for so many."
