Demi Lovato to launch nail polish line: 'The products embody strong women'

'Heart Attack' superstar Demi Lovato can now add another career path to her ever growing resume as she has partnered with cosmetics company The New Black to create a nail polish collection.

The range, which includes eye-popping colours along with studs and sparkles, will be available in the USA next month in Ulta beauty stores and the brand is launching three $14 (£8.70) three-piece kits as well as two $22 (£13.80) five-piece kits.

Speaking to Women's Wear Daily about the exciting partnership, Lovato explained: "I love all the products that I have created because I think they embody all the qualities of a strong woman."

"It is fun to be able to create your own look down to your nails. I’m a perfectionist when it comes to my nails, although you can’t always tell. I want to put something cool on my nails that expresses who I am and what I’m feeling.”

The hitmaker is currently working as a judge on 'X Factor USA', but is now preparing to release her first book, entitled 'Staying Strong', on November 19. She also recently announced that she will be heading out on her Neon Lights tour in February next year, which will see her perform in cities across North America.
