Demi Lovato has revealed that she is "completely" infatuated with music.

The singer made the claim on Twitter after being asked about why she was cuddling up to a new guitar.

The former X Factor USA judge initially said: "Laying in bed with my new guitar that I'm obsessed with....Life is so good..."

This prompted a fan to ask: "Who snuggles a guitar?"

Lovato then responded: "Someone who is completely in love with music..."

The US star meanwhile is due to embark on her North American Neon Lights tour from February.

She will be supported by Little Mix, Cher Lloyd and Fifth Harmony as girl power comes to the fore.
