DARIO G returns with his new single "CRY". For almost 2 decades DARIO G (a.k.a. Paul Spencer) has become well known for his dance and pop songs, which became huge chart-breakers across the world. You will know instantly the Dario G summer classic "Sunchyme", banging soccer anthems "Carnaval de Paris" and "Ring Of Fire", The Beach soundtrack "Voices", as well as his acclaimed writing and producing of the Official 2010 FIFA World Cup Mascot Song with Pitbull.

Not one to rest on his previous successes, Dario G raised the bar again and approached the one and only DAME SHIRLEY BASSEY to record his self-penned song "WE GOT MUSIC" - and she duly obliged. The pair hit it off straight away and spent a week rehearsing and recording in Dame Shirley's home town of Monte Carlo.

Now he is set to bring us his uplifting new track "CRY". The track brings his familiar euphoria, catchy melody, infectious rhythms, uplifting vocals and a unique, timeless energy in a modern sounding production. The idea behind the song took shape in a very short space of time. As he says himself:

"The principle idea, took under an hour. I knew I was onto something, so I waited patiently for other ideas to fall into my lap over a few weeks to craft it into what you now hear. The title "Cry" was something that I felt summed up the emotion of listening back to what I'd created. It's a powerful and euphoric "Cry" rather than a sad one. I was picturing people dancing and being lifted by the soaring soprano vocals and strings, while the "Higher" chant is there to take the euphoria to an even higher level."

DARIO G continues to be one of the World's finest DJs and performers. Performances across the globe include his own iconic hits tied together to many of a similar status. Recent club and festival appearances include FRANFURT's COMMERZBANK-ARENA , GIANPULA in MALTA and KENDAL CALLING, as well becoming the very first artist to headline DJ on the main stage at CHRIS EVANS' CAR FEST. He is not only one of the finest DJs and performers, he also knows how to write and capture unique and timeless spine-tingling musical masterpieces. "CRY" can now be added to that list.
