Disclosure open up about their new Sam Smith collaboration

Disclosure have denied that they worked with Sam Smith again because he has become big.

The two parties teamed up in 2012 for the former's track 'Latch'.

They have collaborated again on Disclosure's new song 'Omen', which features on their upcoming second record 'Caracal'.

Speaking to NME, the duo insisted that they worked again together because of their bond - not due to Smith's global fame.

Guy Lawrence said: "The main thing was that we didn’t want it to be ‘Latch’ 2.0.

"We’re not just making music together again because Sam has got big, we’re doing it because we’re a great team. Sam was on some crazy diet at the time so he just brought a shiteload of avocados. We were sitting there eating cheesecake."

Disclosure's 'Caracal' meanwhile will be released on September 25.
