Dolly Parton has dismissed accusations that she mimed at this weekend's Glastonbury Festival.

The country icon performed on the Pyramid Stage on Sunday afternoon (June 30) and she received a hero's welcome.

However, some online onlookers speculated that the legendary singer mimed during her hit-strewn set.

This prompted a rep into responding with a statement, saying:

"Dolly sings live. Some people don't know an amazing singer when they hear one."

Parton opened with the song 'Baby I'm Burning' before playing tracks like 'Jolene', '9 to 5' and 'I Will Always Love You'.
