Drake has broken his own record for first-week streams on Spotify.

The Canadian surprised fans last week with the release of the album-mixtape 'If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late'.

The AP confirm that the collection was streamed 17.3 million times in the US on Spotify in just three days.

This means that Drake broke the record for the most streams of a release in its first week.

The previous record was also held by Drake.

His 2013 album 'Nothing Was The Same' was streamed on Spotify 15.8 million times in its first seven days.
