Drake denies he is performing at the Grammys

Drake been forced into denying that he is performing at this year's Grammy Awards after an advert aired during the Super Bowl saying he was on the bill.

The music awards ceremony is taking place in Los Angeles on February 15, with a star-studded bill that features the likes of Adele, Rihanna and Taylor Swift.

An advert was broadcast during the Super Bowl event on Sunday (February 7) that listed Drake alongside a number of the night's performers.

This prompted the Canadian into issuing a denial on Twitter, with the music man saying:

"I am not performing at the Grammy Awards...but hey it's the thought that counts."

Drake is nominated for a total of five Grammys, including Best Rap Album for 'If You're Reading This It's Too Late'.
