Drake is eyeing a presidential role

Canadian hip hop star Drake thinks he would be the perfect choice to play Barack Obama if a movie or biopic was ever made about him.

Speaking to VH1 at the Sundance Film Festival recently, the 'Take Care' hitmaker explained that he is so interested in the U.S. President's characteristics, mannerisms and personality that he believes he could recreate them on screen:

"I hope somebody makes a movie about Obama's life soon because I could play him. That's the goal. I watch all the addresses. Any time I seen him on TV, I don't change the channel. I definitely pay attention and listen to the inflections of his voice."

"If you ask anyone who knows me, I'm pretty good at impressions."

He also admitted that acting is a passion of his and he's currently reading scripts for potential projects:

"I've been reading scripts for a while. I want to do something great. I want to do something for my culture: the younger people who are still in tune with everything going on. I'm actually writing with my friends right now."
