Drake cancels Grammy show slot at the last minute

Drake has pulled his performance at tonight's (December 6) Grammy Nominations Concert.

The Canadian was due to play live at the event in Los Angeles as the music awards body reveal a number of their nominees.

However, a rep confirmed to TMZ that the music man has cancelled his slot at the very last minute.

They said: "Unfortunately, due to scheduling complications, Drake will no longer be performing...[he's] currently in the middle of his nationwide 'Would You Like A Tour?' and sincerely apologizes to his fans that he can’t be there."

Drake doesn't have a scheduled tour date tonight, with his next show due to take place on Saturday night (December 7) in Kansas City.

The Grammy nominations show, however, seems to be in good hands. Katy Perry and Taylor Swift were announced last night (December 5) for the concert's bill, with both acts performing via a video link-up.

Other performers lined up include Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Lorde and Keith Urban.

The 56th Grammy Awards meanwhile will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on January 26.
