Ed Sheeran has added an extra date to his forthcoming UK tour.

The singer-songwriter is due to hit the UK in October for a series of shows in promotion of his upcoming second album.

A slew of arena dates were initially announced but an extra gig at London's O2 Arena has been confirmed due to popularity after tickets for all concerts went on sale today (January 10).

It will take place on October 14 and tickets have already gone on sale.
