Ed Sheeran unveils 'x' artwork

Ed Sheeran has released the cover artwork for his upcoming new album.

The British singer-songwriter is due to unleash 'x' on June 23 as the follow-up to his 2011 debut '+'.

He has already unveiled the lead single 'Single' as well as the record's tracklisting.

Today (April 10) the 'Lego House' hitmaker followed this up with a picture of the album's artwork, which is a black 'X' on a green background.

He also clarified on Instagram the pronunciation of the title. Sheeran wrote:

"This is the album cover. The album is called "Multiply". Goes up for preorder tomorrow x."

The musician meanwhile is due to tour UK arenas in October in promotion of 'x'.
