Ed Sheeran all-access documentary special to air

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has announced that he recently let a camera crew follow him around and the footage they documented will be broadcast later this summer on MTV.

Writing on his official Twitter page earlier today (April 25), the 'Sing' hitmaker explained that a one-off special called '9 Days and Nights of Ed Sheeran' will air in June and it's the only time he has ever let people in to that extent.

The superstar confirmed: "'9 days and nights of Ed Sheeran' airs June 10th, 10pm on @mtv. First time I've let a film crew see every aspect of my life close up, tune in."

Sheeran recently opened up about his new single, 'Sing', and admitted that it was written about someone he met once in Las Vegas: "Someone I met in Vegas. It was last summer. We went out for food afterwards... sushi."
