Ed Sheeran explains tonight's interactive ad break performance

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran will be performing later tonight (June 26) during the commercial break of 'Big Bang Theory' in the UK and his fans will decide what he plays live. 

This exciting interactive opportunity is the first of its kind and will see the 'Lego House' superstar appear on television screens at 7.58pm UK time to introduce the unusual concept before the channel shows an episode of the 'Big Bang Theory'. 

Writing about how it will work on his official Twitter page, the superstar explained that viewers will be asked to vote for the acoustic track they want to see him perform then he will oblige them during the break that follows:

"People of UK, doing quite a cool thing today. Tune into the Big Bang theory tonight on E4, and wait for the adverts in between... You're gonna have a chance to to vote for what acoustic track you want me to play, and then il play one in the whole advert break."

Sheeran then returned to the site and added that he can't wait for the live TV spot: "Very excited to see how it works. So yeah, tune into Big Bang theory tonight on e4 and the do all the hashtag thingz."
