Ed Sheeran: 'Taylor Swift is glad she has never annoyed me after hearing 'Don't''

Hitmaker Ed Sheeran has confessed that when he played 'Don't' for former tour buddy and close friend Taylor Swift, she admitted that she's glad to have never found herself on his bad side.

During an interview with MTV's Laura Whitmore, the singer-songwriter confessed that he played his track 'Don't' for good friend Taylor Swift and was surprised by her reaction because she writes some very telling personal songs:

"When I sent her the angry song she said she's glad she's never annoyed me. And she never wants to annoy me."

The superstar concluded: "So that's something because she can write some quite harsh songs."

He also opened up about continuing his career in the music industry now that he has released his sophomore album, adding that it's important not to be complacent: "I think as a performer and an entertainer you have to continually prove yourself. You're only as good as you're last hit, as they say."
