Ed Sheeran on success: 'I don't want to bask in it'

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has opened up about his incredible rise to fame and suggested that it's important to keep moving through this amazing journey and enjoy it as it happens.

Speaking to the QMI Agency, the superstar admitted that he doesn't like to 'bask' in his success and instead likes to share it with his loved ones and then move on to the next challenge:

"I don't really want to bask in it. I like being able to share it with people, I like being able to fly my family out to places, put them on holidays and stuff like that, be able to go to a bar with my friends and being able to just say 'drink up'."

When asked if he felt under pressure with his second album, 'X', the 'Don't' hitmaker confessed that he thrives in that kind of environment and likes to push himself so didn't feel stressed in that respect: "I put a tremendous amount of pressure on anything I do. This record was no different."

He also took to his official Twitter page this morning (September 19) and told his followers that he's shooting the music video for another single today: "Shooting the video for 'Thinking out loud' today."
