Ed Sheeran announces autumn leg of North American tour due to phenomenal demand

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has announced details of a stadium tour that will bring him to North America in September due to overwhelming demand for tickets to his summer concerts. 

The hitmaker took to his official Twitter page this afternoon (March 31)  and explained: "Playing my first stadiums shows in the USA in September, more details announced soon, but very exciting."

Sheeran's full list of newly announced dates have been shared via Ryan Seacrest's website and this new run is due to kick off on September 3 at the BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas. The schedule can be seen below and tickets are due to go on sale next month on April 10.
