British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has revealed that he wants to do everything in his power to land a cameo on 'Game of Thrones' because he is a huge fan of the popular show. 

During a recent interview with The Sun newspaper, the 'Lego House' sensation admitted that he was in talks to be an extra a while ago, but nothing came of it because his schedule kept clashing with filming times:

"There were talks ages ago of me being an extra, which could have been cool. But every time they shoot it's the time I tour the UK. [But]I've got that time off this year, I'm going to hound them."

Last week, Sheeran was given the gift of character Jon Snow's sword and shared a snapshot of himself posing with it on Instagram (pictured above left), telling his followers: "Polly and Grant got me Jon Snows sword and it's the best thing that ever happened ever."
