Ed Sheeran reveals Wembley nerves

Ed Sheeran has admited that he's a little nervous ahead of headlining Wembley Stadium.

The singer-songwriter is due to play the iconic London venue tonight (July 10) before playing a further two sold-out gigs over the weekend.

Speaking to Capital FM, the Brit said that he hopes the first concert will go well to set him in good stead for next two.

Sheeran said: "I’m nervous about the first night and I know once I get the first night out of the way the other two are going to be really fun. There are certain things that I didn’t really realise were happening.

“Like this morning I woke up to a text from Ryan Tedder and he was like thank you for letting us open for you at Wembley.

"I was like, ‘Oh yeah, OneRepublic are opening up for me!’. That’s pretty mad. They’ve been around for a while, I had their albums when I was at school. So that’s cool."
