Ed Sheeran wants to top Robbie Williams' Knebworth stint

Ed Sheeran says he wants to out-do Robbie Williams' impressive run of shows at Knebworth.

The singer performed to over 375,000 at the south of England venue over three nights in 2003.

It was apparently the biggest pop concert ever held in the UK.

Speaking to The Sun, Sheeran said that after playing a trio of shows at London's Wembley Stadium in July, he is setting his sights high.

It seems the singer-songwriter wants to top Williams' Knebworth stint.

The 'x' man said: "Knebworth is 125,000 [people] and Robbie has the record for doing three.

"So that's the next thing."
