Ed Sheeran: "I don't get women flinging underwear at me"

Ed Sheeran has expressed his disappointment at the lack of underwear thrown at him on stage.

Having undies thrown at you on stage by screaming females is a benchmark of male pop success - with even the likes of 75-year-old Eurovision hopeful Engelbert Humperdinck still getting the treatment.

However, Sheeran told the Daily Star that he doesn't actually get underwear flung at him - or even women throwing themselves upon him.

He even revealed that once he saw a man with his face tattooed on his arm. He said:

"All I get is grown men with my song lyrics tattooed on their arms or their body parts. One guy even had my face tattooed on his arm which was strange. I don't get women throwing themselves at me or flinging their underwear. Maybe one day."
