Ed Sheeran confirms Sir Elton John GRAMMYs duet

Earlier today (January 24), singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran revealed that he will perform at the forthcoming GRAMMY Awards ceremony and he has now shared more information on his slot.

Writing on Twitter this afternoon, the 'Small Bump' superstar explained that he will be playing live with none other than music legend Sir Elton John:

"So the other bit of information about my grant [sic] performance was released today, so I'll say it on here now...I'll be playing at he Grammys on the 10th of feb, singing a duet of one of my songs with Elton John, very excited about that!"

Sheeran has previously spoken out about his relationship with the icon and explained that he gives him a lot of guidance and support, which has been invaluable throughout his successful career.

The 55th GRAMMY Awards will take place on February 10 at Los Angeles' Staples Center and other acts set to perform live include country star Carrie Underwood, 'We Are Young' hitmakers fun., and Taylor Swift.

The ceremony will also be broadcast live on CBS Television Network from 8–11:30pm (ET/PT).
