British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran took to his official Twitter page last night (September 19) to document a series of bad events that led to him going to hospital with a bleeding hand. 

The star is still on tour with Taylor Swift and they performed at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville yesterday, but after the show things took a negative turn. 

Writing on the social networking site, the 'Lego House' hitmaker thanked Nashville's A&E department for fixing his hand, of which he shared a photograph that showed his fingers covered in blood (pictured below). While he didn't reveal the nature of the injury, Sheeran added that he had to get "6 stitches".

Following this, he returned to Twitter and shared another snapshot of a burst tyre, adding: "And now a flat tyre. This night is epic."
