Ed Sheeran tired of promoting friends' music on Twitter

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has revealed that being constantly asked to help his pals out by tweeting or posting about their new music is getting old very quickly and he won't do it any more.

Writing on his official Twitter page last night (October 21), the 'Lego House' superstar explained that it's sad to think people are using his fame to try and get ahead:

"I swear I promote other peoples music more than I promote my own on here."

He then added that he's fed up of acting as a point of promotion for friends' bands or fellow artists' music: "17 inbox messages. 16 asking the same thing. I'm gonna take a break from doing that now, hope people are cool with that. If you wanna catch up then awesome, but all I am doing is just tweeting links."

Meanwhile, he recently collaborated with Lupe Fiasco on a track named 'Old School Love' and the song will be included on the rapper's upcoming new album, 'Tetsuo & Youth'.
