British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has revealed that he has made an exciting last minute addition to the tracklisting for his upcoming new record. 

Earlier today (January 2), the hitmaker tweeted a message to his fans to let them know that he has included another song on the album at the eleventh hour: "Adding a last minute song to the album."

Back at the beginning of December, Sheeran confessed that he had finished recording the body of work and yesterday (January 1), he told his followers on social networking site Twitter that he has some exciting news to share next week: "Announcement coming January 6th."

Speaking to the New York Daily News recently, he explained that being unique is something that's very important to him as an artist and musician: "It’s important to always be yourself because no one can do you better than you. So the way to stay unique is just embrace all the odd quirks you have.”
