Ellie Goulding: 'I had to axe my fan runs'

'Burn' songstress Ellie Goulding has revealed that she was disappointed to have to cancel the runs she used to go on with fans on concert days, but had to axe them because so many people would turn up to keep fit with her.

Speaking to Britain's Style magazine, the beauty admitted that it was great to see so many enthusiastic fans wanting to jog with her, but from a safety perspective she had to shut it down because it just wasn't safe:

"I wanted to do something different. It meant I could bond with them in a different way. Sadly it got a bit out of hand, so we had to stop, but it was cool at the time."

Earlier this week, the hitmaker told Daily Star newspaper that she thinks it's sexy for women to be fit and strong: "For me, the appeal has always been to be really fit and strong. I think a pair of powerful legs on a girl, or a bigger bum from doing squats, is so sexy."
