Songstress Ellie Goulding has revealed that she is definitely responsible for getting Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris together as she knew they would be a fantastic match. 

During a new interview with The Sun newspaper, the 'Burn' beauty explained that she played a part in setting them up because she saw how well suited they are: 

"I did play matchmaker, that's true."

"Calvin is a really great mate and he's so fantastic, and Taylor is such a cool person who I love. I thought, 'They're both really awesome and both really tall, they'll be brilliant together'."

Goulding went onto add that now Harris has visited Swift's Nashville home, it's probably only a matter of time before she makes the trip over to his native Scotland to 'hang out': "Of course she would hang out there. She's so down to earth and that would be important to her."
