Rihanna has cancelled her performance at this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and Ellie Goulding has been announced as her replacement.

As previously reported, Rihanna was due to perform alongside Selena Gomez and The Weeknd as part of the American lingerie brand’s annual televised catwalk and musical event, but the company have confirmed a change to the line-up.

Victoria’s Secret informed it’s 8.33 million Twitter followers: “#VSFashionShow Musical Guest update: @elliegoulding in. @rihanna out.”

New models confirmed to be appearing for the first time on the famed catwalk include Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Stella Maxwell.

The 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show takes place in New York on December 8.
