Ellie Goulding: 'A Grammy nomination is insane'

Ellie Goulding has admitted her shock at being nominated for a Grammy award.

Her 50 Shades of Grey track 'Love Me Like You Do' is up for the Best Pop Solo Performance prize.

It was the singer's first nomination for the Grammys.

It has also received a nod in the Best Original Song category at the Golden Globes.

Speaking on the Jonathan Ross Show, Goulding said she is finding it hard to take it all in.

The Brit said: "Honestly I never in a million years thought I'd be nominated, it was a Golden Globe and two Grammys in the same week and that just all kind of hit me and it was in the craziest week of my life, I'd been everywhere and so I couldn't really be really blown away.

"I was too tired to appreciate it, too much else going on but now I'm like, 'Oh my God it's insane and amazing'."

Goulding's interview will feature on the ITV show on Saturday (January 9).
