British singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding will appear as the musical guest on a forthcoming episode of Saturday Night Live. 

The NBC series is set to finish up its current season with 3 special episodes next month and Brit award-winning Goulding will perform on one of them (May 7). Coincidentally, former SNL star and writer Tina Fey will be the show's host so it looks set to be a special event. 

The 'Starry Eyed' songstress has also recently announced that she will be appearing at this year's Lollapalooza festival in Chicago and you can watch her talk about her performance at Coachella here:
