Ellie Goulding believes shaving the side of her head was a mistake.

The singer sported the look for some time before reverting to a more natural look in 2013.

However, it seems with the benefit of hindsight she regrets the move. When asked by Elle what her biggest fashion faux pas has been, Goulding said:

"When I had half of my head shaved. It was my most extreme tomboy phase."

The 'Burn' star added that she has adopted a more vegetarian-friendly diet in order to keep in shape:

"I run, I do a lot of exercise and I've stopped eating meat and fish."
