Ellie Goulding has posed topless for Marie Claire magazine.

The singer indulged in her raunchy side for the cover shoot of the February edition of the magazine, which was released in the UK today (January 2).

In the accompanying interview, the 'Burn' star suggests that she is probably single because men view her as marriage material and not someone to date.

She said: "People seem to think I'm more wife material than girlfriend material. That's probably why I'm single! People want to marry me - and nothing before it."

Goulding's nude photoshoot ties in with recent quotes she gave that revealed she is getting more confident in her own body.

She said: "I don't feel I have to cover up. I can wear a half-naked revealing dress now and people aren't surprised anymore.

"I don't think I have to have the perfect figure or the perfect face and people know that I know that. But I can't really be shy anymore, and everyone in America is naturally confident, it's a whole different world over there."
