Emeli Sandé reveals she has written a song for the "original Sugababes line-up"

Emeli Sandé has confirmed she has written a new song for the "original line-up of the Sugababes".

The rising singer and songwriter told MTV that the rumours of her penning a track for the trio were true - and that the song sounds "amazing".

There has been constant speculation surrounding a reformation of the original Sugababes line-up after a mystical tweet from Keisha Buchanan - but the rumours have been consistently shot down.

However, Sandé revealed that she has indeed written a track for the band. When asked by MTV if the rumours were true, she replied:

"Yes, that is true. I've written for the original line-up of the Sugababes, which I'm very happy about because I just loved them when they first came out. I loved their sound, it was so cool. It was very different, so I'm happy to kind of be involved in what started the whole Sugababes journey. It sounds amazing."
