Emeli Sandé bags UK's best-selling album of the year so far

Emeli Sandé's debut album 'Our Version of Events' has been named the most popular album in the UK this year so far.

The record, which was released in February 2012, has come top in a list issued by the Official Charts Company after selling 536,000 units so far this year.

The album was previously named as the top selling record of 2012.

Second on the list of this year's big shifters is the soundtrack to the new Les Miserables film, whilst Bruno Mars' 'Unorthodox Jukebox' takes the bronze medal.

Daft Punk's hit 'Random Access Memories' is in at No.4 with Michael Bublé's 'To Be Loved' following at No.5.

Other titles in the top ten include Justin Timberlake's 'The 20/20 Experience' at No.6, Jake Bugg's self-titled debut at No.7 and Bastille's 'Bad Blood' at No.10.
