There are a select few voices of house music that have paved their own pathway to legendary. Singer, songwriter & DJ Anabel Englund continues to carry unforgettable, powerful melodies and choruses to chart-topping heights as this week (week of July 19) she once again hits #1 at U.S. dance radio with “Waiting For You.” The song with Finnish producer Yotto marks her fourth #1 following her other singles “So Hot (MK & Nightlapse Remix),” “Underwater” with MK and “Picture Us,” marking her as the only female artist with four #1’s in the last two years. “Waiting For You,” called a “…soothingly atmospheric joint effort…” by Dancing Astronaut, appears on Englund’s album Messing With Magic Deluxxe Album. Issued in May as an extensive 15-track release, the Deluxxe Album features five new tracks in addition to the ten that make up Englund’s acclaimed 2020 debut LP Messing With Magic. These include her collaborative single “Waiting For You” with Yotto, a track that pairs Englund’s rousing and euphoric vocals with the Finnish producer’s dreamy soundscape and acoustic versions of two tracks from Messing With Magic, “Picture Us” and “Underwater.”

Described as “smouldering and sultry” by Forbes and “effervescent” by Mixmag, highlights from the original LP include “Float,” “See The Sky,” “Warm Disco” with Lee Foss and title track “Messing With Magic” with Jamie Jones.

The 2020 iHeart Music “Dance Artist of the Year” nominee has performed around the world at iconic festivals like Glastonbury, Coachella, Bestival, III Points and CRSSD, as well as venues like London’s O2 Academy, Ushuaïa Ibiza and the FriendShip music cruise. Most recently Englund performed at Day Trip and Repopulate Mars in Miami.

During the thick of the COVID-19 pandemic while the world was on lockdown, Anabel took the opportunity to promote her music by sharpening her DJ skills and acoustic performance to perform a variety of live streams including Mixmag Lab Home Edition, EDC Orlando Virtual Rave-A-Thon, Higher Ground with Diplo, SIRIUSXM’s BPM’s Empowered Festival, Factory 93 and Desert Hearts among others.
